Founded in 1973 as the Socialist Environment and Resources Association, SERA is the only environmental group affiliated to Labour, and campaigns for the party to adopt ambitious environmental policies.

Save Our NHS Leicestershire is a group set up following the successful campaign to save the Glenfield Children’s Heart Centre.  It consists of NHS patients and staff who are opposed to the sweeping cuts and privatisation that are being inflicted on our NHS.

The C0-operative Party are the political party of the co-operative movement, which shares the same values as the Labour Party.  The party was set up in 1917 to represent the co-operative movement, and defend it from the government of the time, which was dominated by private business.  The party has had an electoral agreement with the Labour Party since 1927, to stand joint candidates in elections.
